This Month’s Feature:
This month, we’re excited to spotlight our partnership with the Children’s Health Foundation. You may have seen our announcements and social media posts, but we want to take a moment to delve deeper into the incredible impact this foundation has on children, especially within our local community.
Children’s Health is one of the largest and most distinguished non-profit organizations in North Texas, providing essential support to children in need through partnerships, donors, and various initiatives. By supporting this foundation, countless children receive the medical attention they desperately need.
At Volleman’s Family Farm, we believe in the importance of supporting our community and the surrounding areas. This belief led us to partner with the Children’s Health Foundation in 2023. Our collaboration began with a unique bottle design contest involving Children’s Health patients, where each child had the chance to submit an illustration to be featured on our iconic glass bottles.
We were overwhelmed by the creativity of numerous submissions, each showcasing the incredible talent of these young artists. After our team carefully narrowed down the designs to five finalists, we turned to the public to select the winning design. In 2023, the honor went to an amazing young boy named Luke, whose “bluebonnet” illustration captured everyone’s hearts.
The success and joy from last year’s contest inspired us to bring it back again this year. We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s winner is Citali, who dazzled us with her imaginative balloon design. We had the pleasure of welcoming Citali and her family to our dairy, where we got to hear her inspiring story and share in her excitement.
As part of our ongoing commitment to this partnership, proceeds from the sale of our “Children’s Health” milk quarts will go directly back to the Children’s Health Foundation. These contributions help ensure that children in need can continue to receive the care they deserve, allowing them to get back to what they do best—being kids.
