How To Make It

Step 1: Make the Ice Cream Mixture

In a quart-size ziplock bag, pour in:

Zip the bag tightly and squeeze out any excess air. Double-check the seal — you don’t want leaks!

Step 2: Prepare the Ice Bath

In the gallon-size ziplock bag, fill it halfway with ice.
Sprinkle in ⅓ cup of salt.
The salt lowers the freezing point of the ice, which helps freeze the cream faster.

Step 3: Add the Ice Cream Bag

Place the sealed quart-size bag (with your mixture) into the gallon bag filled with ice and salt.
Seal the large bag tightly.

Step 4: Shake It Up!

Wrap the gallon bag in a towel (or wear gloves/oven mitts — it gets cold!).
Now, shake it vigorously for 5 to 8 minutes. You’ll feel the mixture thicken as it turns into ice cream.

🎶 Turn on some music and make it a dance party!

Step 5: Check & Serve

After about 8 minutes, unzip the large bag and pull out the smaller one. Wipe it clean (you don’t want salt in your ice cream!) and unzip. Scoop the ice cream into a bowl or eat it straight from the bag!
